better put you the result up hadnt i?

Strange old tourney

managed to win the first tourney in a couple of weeks, got lucky at one point with 40 left, i called 2 all ins when low stack with Q8 ( had the valuuuuu) and managed to treble up to 12k, but im not the player not to take advantage of this, i soon built up to 20k when i ran my KK into 55 for a big pot, i then began bullying the table raising, re-raising with garbage, I know i post the tourneys where i win and not lose, but its not good reading seeing how i busted out with a stone cold bluff.....

anyways have a happy new year... thE cLAIMeR xx

dont get me started

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

after all the shite that goes with christmas, sat down in the 12k tonight full of confidence, after playing like a twat in the 10k and finishing out with the washing, i decided this was the time when id finally win this elusive comp. Played well and made some first class moves,

most of the hands i saw were in the middle period and on the last two tables, i was also making a lot of moves and steals to build my stack up to 4th chip leader in final.

Soon i realised that it could be a difficult final with 3 good players, Rivergod, Ak-47 and Quiet man.

believe it or not only one player was knocked out in 90 mins final play after a series of suckouts and down right luckiness saw the short stax double up and the big stax only taking a minor hit.

the final table was the only place that my blind and button raises were not getting through, and i had to pass quite a lot of hands to hefty re raises, i was down to 99k with blinds at 5-10k and quiet man the table bully raised to 35k in 1st pos, i quickly moved all in, not minding of a call or pass..... he called with 88 and the raggedest flop you ever fucking saw something like 2367J resignrd me to defeat in 8th,
didnt do a lot wrong it just wasnt to be.... so ive just registered for the 5k guaranteed, i know its late but fuck it, lets get a bloody result so i can go to bed happy ffs,

Not the vc cashout jinx

Last week was my best week in terms of Mtts winning 3 and having two good 2nds and a third in the 12k....
I managed to bank £2500 profit from mtts last week, didnt play saturday or sunday due to lots of ale being consumed, and Monday and tuesday) so far) have proved a waste of fucking time, absolutely card dead....

I know i am quite capable of making good plays and pinching alot of the time but i need some hands to build my stack up. Think i may start playing a few more stts to try and rid this run of shite hands, will try the 10k tonight and maybe the 12k, want a nice result to start off the week in the same vein as the last. and to try and rid the thoughts of the popular, (amongst vc kippers) of the ca$hout jinx

Tournament run continues

played 3 tourneys today and managed to get a 2nd place in the $3500

and a 3rd place in the 12k, its always funny when u get lucky to make the final then really unlucky to finish third, ill take it though and add it to the coffers. Gonna enter some big tourneys on pokerstars soon to find out how good i really am! and if there are the same number of kippers on stars as vc!

won it Yippeeeeeeeee!! made a good call three handed

the sb raised double i called with 75os the flop came down 549 he went all in for 4k i called and he turned over KJ my hand held up, in heads up the guy kept raising all in when i limped on his bb so wheni had 77 i limped and he pushed, i called he had A9 first card 7 thats all folks!!!

Plodding along

last nights 10k and 12k tourneys proved unfruitful, so woke up this morning intent on taking a tourney down, to earn some reddies, played in both the 3500 and 4000 guaranteed i was in the last 14 in the 3500 and there was 60 left in the 4000 when i crashed out of both tourneys. in the 3500 someone raised about 3/4 of my stack and i moved with JJ he had to call odds-wise with A8d only for that sodding ace to hit the turn grrrrrrrrrrrrrr,

Meanwhile almost simaltaneously in the 4000 i had JJ again in the BB and when i saw 4 limpers calling the 600 i decided to ship 9k in with my hooks, when the last of the limpers started to deliberate i knew i was good, he eventually called with 1010, (both red) and when the flop came all spades he was drawing to the 10clubs with duly came on the turn!! ahh well was due a bad beat i suppose.

Decided to play a $100 stt, as my win ratio on stts has to be the best on the site!!! got to big myself up now and again :) anyway, didnt see a hand until level 4 when i raised half my stack with 99 (6 LEFT OUT OF 9) only to be put all in, i had to call and hit runner runner for the straight, ---------- so these things do level out!!!

from then on i was strong and raising a lot, without being re-raised or even called most of the time.

When it got 3 handed i was confident because of the other two players passiveness, and we were heads up 1 hand later after i was let in on bb with 92 for the flop to come 9 2 6 the sb went all in for 1500 with 55 and i won the pot,

Heads up lasted only 1 hand as well my opponent Thom-O-Hawk thought his 7 was good on a 27jj board, i was waiting with J3 and it was all over and the $450 was mine,,,

just starting another $100 9 seater and then ill go to pub for a couple ---- lets hope theres plenty of
<{{{{>< at the table
good day

Back to Basics

played well from the start made a good call with AK v AQ to win a massive pot and went to final with a big chip lead. Always thought i would win it from the position i was in and thankfully i was proved right!!

Show me the way to go home

I arrived at my hotel in belfast at around 6:45pm booked a taxi to the cavendish for 7:30pm to give me time for a quick shower, fag and a cuppa tea, It was the £100 freezout on the thursday night of my arrival and I was determined to get a decent result here to pay for expences for the long weekend, alas it wasnt to be,

Started well flat called with AA on the BB and got paid by a maniac and was picking my spots well and i was bullying the table.

But when the blinds got to 300/600 our table was split up and i was moved to a table where i couldnt get away with my previous exploits. Everytime i raised i was either called or re-raised and decided to call someones big over-raise with AQ. He had AJ and rivered his jack, the next hand i moved all in for 4500 with 77 and was called by 88 and that was the end of that.

Got really bored alone in my hotel room all weekend especially friday when i decided to go to the cinema twice through sheer boredam. I couldnt wait for saturday and the main event to begin.

My starting table contained ActionJack who got involved in a lot of the table bantor, and was a pleasure to play with. For the first three levels my chip stack hovered around the starting stack (10K) and I was waiting for an opportunity to pick up some chips, and waiting ............. and waiting.

I must have found AJ at least 8 times in the first 4 levels and when i raised i was either re-raised or bet off a Q or K high flop. The tournament was turning into a real grind!!.

I managed to double up to 14k with JJ v J9h when my opponent misread the amount he had to call.

I was moved table when the blinds began at 600/1200 with 100 ante, and i was moving my chips very nicely pinching in late position successfully until i thought i could take a guy off his hand, re-raised on the turn only forhim to put me all in on the river grrrrrrrrrrrrr. I was left with 4900 and needed to move with blinds at 600/1200, i was all in in the next two hands with A9 and AQ, but when the blinds went through me i needed another steal and moved all in blind on the button for 7600. I was called by 66 and turned over my 95clubs.

Alas it wasnt to be, I tried my best and played well without the cards coming for me, in 9 hours of poker i never saw AA, KK, QQ or AK. I finished 32nd out of 123.

Anyway got back last night fired vcpoker up and was very unlucky in the 10k guaranteed to finish 7th when i slowplayed AA against the chip leader, and moved all in on a 10 high flop, he called with 10 K and hit a 10 on the turn and a K on the river grrrrrrrrrr

The positive is im playing very well and expect a big tourney result to come sooner rather than later,

Like a Kid at Christmas

setting off fot the train station soon to get to liverpool to fly to belfast in a couple of hours, and very very exited !!!!
Went to a gentlemens evening last night and it nearly all kicked off when a group of not so friendly lads took offence, when my mate told one to leave his snide jeans alone. Just cant have bantor with anyone anymore,.

Arrived back and had a productive session of $10/20 limit, turning $400 into $1000 in about half an hour, hit some flops let me tell ya. Ended up coming off with $750 grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Confidence is at a high at the moment i think i can really do it in belfast. Any decent result i might just fly to brighton for the festival next week. Looking forward to tryingmy luck with some belfast belles as well,

Just buzzing,

Not a bad start for the day!!, played in a $100 9 seater stt when someone raised, i found AA on the bb i decided to get sneaky and just called,

I was planning to check raise him on flop, but i ended up check calling his huge overbet on a flop of J103

he bet 3400 allin into a 800 pot!! so theres me thinking he has got AJ or KJ and he turns over 10 10 for trips. Cant believe he played it like that but good luck to him.

I then came 2nd in a $50 6 seater, then decided to play the 11:00am $3500 guaranteed $27 buy in.

Started v well trebling up with AQ on a Qhigh board on the second hand, From then on i was slowly building my stack and playing good poker. I was doubled up with QQ and when there were 12 left found AA in first position i raise to 4800------- blinds were at 1,200-2,400 a player decided to re-raise for another 27k, he has optimistically moved in with A10 off suit and no help for him and i reach the final with a commanding chip lead of 96k as opposed to the 2nd placed 55k.

The final was the only time in the tourney where alas, the cards deserted me,

I waited and waited ( pinching a couple to keep me afloat) people were getting knocked out--- but not by me :)

we reached 3 handed and i was pot committed to go call an all-in bet with J9. He turned over AQ and i hit my jack on the turn.

we began heads up with me trailing 5 to 1 in chips i had 54k v 278k and with blinds 5k-10k i didnt have much time. I had to get busy... after passing the first few hands i decidedto make a move with K3 os which was quicky called by blindhogg with A10 which caught AA on the flop, so i was 2nd :(

Still not a bad result, if only i had some ammo in the final i coulda won the bloody thing.

may play in a couple of other tourneys tonight if the pub doesnt call............:)

So im back..........

Decided to stick with vc but have am now using a different acount The Claimer,

I have given up the cash games because quite simply i stink at them and i am now playing soley on the stts and the multis.

Been off work since may playing proffessionaly and the highlight came when i won a seat for the northern ireland championships which will be held this saturday at the Cavendish club. Looking forward to it as at the moment my tournament play is going well and im confident of scooping a good result (touch wood)

Im gonna start updating most days on my progress on vc as i attempt to win the big tournys and grind out in the $50 & $100 stt s.
